POV: you walk into a tavern and you’re immediately judged by the hottest people in there👯♀️
A Merlin/Witcher crossover prompt ignoring the timelines of both shows.
Mage!Jaskier AU
After that one scene in e6 Jaskier swears to never have anything to do with magic again, aside from his own. The only place he heard of where he can truly be free of magic is Camelot so that's where he heads to once he finishes the trek back down the mountain.
Eventually aafter six months of traveling he finally makes it through Camelot's walls. Jaskier quickly lands himself a job as the King Uther's official entertainer. Whenever he performs he avoids singing Toss a Coin to Your Witcher as, he doesnt want to get arrested for conspiracy against the king.
Later on he befriends Merlin, Gwen, Arthur and even Morgana. Though he straight up tells Morgana he wants nothing to do with her magic once he finds out about it by accident.
After Four years of living in Camelot and secretly training his magic with Merlin (though the magiks work differently they have the same bones) Jaskier finally starts singing Toss a Coin to Your Witcher as Arthur has proven to be weary of magic, but shows less hatred towards it compared to Uther.
Idk the ending is something where Geralt and Ciri show up in Camelot because they sense the magic used by Merlin and Jaskier.
Jaskier bumps into Citi first then eventually forgives Geralt and the three of them live forever in the safety of Camelot's walls.
