why is she like that
she was walking around the school with her headphones on, till Joey tap on her shoulder
“hm? yes Joey?”
“Hey do you hear the ticking?”
[He asked remembering what she mentioned earlier about the importance of having them on her]
walking dead was almost watchable
Okay, friends, I’m done talking about the things that upset me about this episode & I’m read to Love Again.

took me 8 million tries to get a green i like
Currently thinking about how much Lucie humanises so many of the more distant characters in tlh:
She saw Charles look at Alastair in the first enclave meeting in ChoG & was the only one to run after him/see him crying at the engagement party
Similarly, standing up for Alastair at the wedding I know it’s been talked about before
By working with Grace to raise Jesse, she sees the side of Grace that cares even if it’s only implied/in brief moments (a side I don’t think James has ever truly seen)
Jesse. Just everything with Jesse - everyone either doesn’t think about him at all/dismisses him as long dead or is using him (Grace isn’t consciously, but she clearly feels she needs him)
Also knowing about the Anna/Ariadne meetings??
Always reminding Cordelia of her place as her best friend/sister/parabatai no matter what & continually helping characters in distress (eg spying with Thomas), along with endless love of her family/friends
It also feels like it’s through Lucie’s POV you tend to get the most perceptive views of the other characters - she’s definitely the least biased & oblivious with her infamous writer’s brain 💕
nO LITERALLY SHES MY BEST FRIEND FOR THIS
as much as we praise alastair for being the most logical, imo she’s the most emotionally logical. she’s more of a middle ground and fights for and defends everyone no one is doing it like her. when she gave out to thomas at the wedding i was ready to smooch her on the forehead and crown her queen. she’s fed up with everyone’s bullshit while still caring SHES SO SPECIAL TO MEEEEEE. she really just sees everyone for who they are and isn’t desperate to hold onto these old grudges and i love her for it EMOTIONALLY UNTETHERED QUEEN
