I've come to check on tumblr from the dea- hibernation and witness Bumblebee/Mea + Herbie. HERBIE! I LOVED HERBIE AS A KID AND BUMBLEBEE'S OLD ALT MODE BEING SIMILAR TO HERBIE MAKES THIS SO MUCH BETTER THAT I NEEDED TO RAMBLE AND FANGIRL

YESSS I loved Herbie when I was younger and I've always thought that the Bumblebee movie had somewhat of a similiar vibe in the beginning to Herbie which is what made me love it even more 😭💖

Also, I've heard that IDW Bee's holoform is Lindsay Lohan and is apparently a reference to Herbie: Fully Loaded and I love that sm???

Going with the film continuity, Herbie Fully Loaded left the Love Bug in Maggie's hands. So it made sense to me that she'd be the one working with the Autobot.
