I find Vepar’s djinn equip one of the most beautiful and lovely creatures Ohtaka draw, other than his design, I love that she chose dark skin for him, it added a lot of charm. It’s only two panels but I can’t get enough of him, officially escalates to be one of my top 5 favorite djinn equips.

Because he's being a big hypocrite? Solomon was a human so was ugo, so the argument " you are human" is stupid. Like Aladdin and co think people can chose whatever path they want except when they threaten the status quo from which both benefit, neither of them can judge sinbad.
No, Ugo isn’t wrong about Sinbad being only human. Solomon and Ugo weren’t humans. They were Alma Toran magicians. Sinbad and all “modern” humans except the Toran tribe evolved from the non-magic (and not as humanoid looking) species of Alma Toran. How much of a difference this makes for whatever Sinbad is planning to do, I don’t know. If anyone does, it is most likely Ugo, who has lived as an alma Toran magician, created the physical laws of the new world and has watched it and the Great Flow and Sacred Palace ever since. I haven’t really caught up on all the current translations so what I’m saying here is simply speculation, but with that in mind I’ll assume Ugo doesn’t just go “No Sinbad don’t” because he doesn’t want him to change things around on principle (though he -is- the Guardian of the Palace so that’s... kinda what he’s there for - and also he’s seen someone merge with god/become god BEFORE and I’m pretty sure he did not enjoy that) but also because he’s convinced Sinbad wouldn’t be able to do it.
