I want to get into communicating with spirits, but not like the stuff that's like....not a for sure sign? Because honestly I've been looking at magic related blogs a while and it seems like people don't always have what seems to be a solid encounter? Like I'm pretty sure, for example, if you're laying down and let's say you're trying to astral travel. I'm pretty sure if you start seeing "footage in your head of a magical alien world" that's....not real, only because youre not ACTUALLY leaving your body or feeling like you have, you're just....daydreaming. What I'm interested in is more physical interaction (with all the right protection and stuff) because I swear a lot of stuff I see people claiming is like your brain just automatically making up a little movie. Like you're just letting it guide you along but you're not really establishing contact with other things, you're just sitting back and...imagining. I'm not trying to be gatekeepy, I'm saying that people are taking that, the automatic images/imagined things/daydreams/etc and accepting it as real metaphysical venturing. But it's different if, you know, you're setting up a mental space or location, creating something, etc. But I don't think what you make in your head should be taken for something external. I feel like when you're doing metaphysical work you will have a distinct feeling of when it's coming from outside. Sorry this turned into a ramble.

rocks, i shit you not. like what you get in new age shops. little rocks. malachite, sodalite, some quartz, whatever. i love fancy rocks.

Do you believe in magic?

i wish i did but no, i think it can be really helpful for some people though! unfortunately me actually believing in magic/occult/paranormal/religion is a sign things are going pretty rapidly downhill, but i love reading about all of the above. the rock collection is just cos they’re pretty haha

What's a song that always makes you happy when you hear it?

oh this is a good question. my baby just cares for me - nina simone. it was playing in the cafe where me and kieran first met and it was a pause in the conversation and i just about calmed down enough to talk normally. there are other songs that mean more to me and to us, but that’s one that makes me actually happy and giddy and excited and i get butterflies remembering and feel just really lucky (even though i know it’s not just luck)
