Fresh straight from the bed - Magic Flakes, Nissin Wafer, and JC de Vera, et cetera

In just a nap I've encountered yet another dream (unbelievably!)... I was inside our sari-sari store when two of our kid neighbors, Eliza & her 3-year-old brother Gabby (who do exist in real life) came to buy some snacks. While Gabby was tugging at his 'Ate''s shirt's hem, pestering her to buy some Jellyace for him, Eliza was selecting 3 Nissin wafers, and 3 Magic Flakes. And while I, who was (and actually is) thriving on a short-term memory, quickly forgot on what she had to buy, so I asked her again. When I finally got it, I handed her 3 Nissin wafers, 1 Magic Flakes in a red-line pack (the original one), & 2 Magic Flakes in blue packs. When Eliza saw the blue ones, she asked, "Bakit blue? Wala po ba kayong red?" I knew the blue ones were also Magic Flakes but I wasn't aware what kind. When I saw the package, well... It was Magic Flakes 'Lite'. Then I explained to Eliza, "Aaaahhh... pag nagje-dyeta ka, eto ang kakainin mo... Teka, wala na ata kaming red. Amina..." then I took the two blue Magic Flakes from her & started to find any 'leftover' original Magic Flakes. I found two original Magic Flakes from our glass container display & gave them to her (wait, is there *actually* a Magic Flakes Lite? In a blue-colored pack?) Eliza handed me P50, & mentally I did some counting. When I went to get some loose change, I found no coins. Then I began to call out for my mother to ask her for coins. When I found out she wasn't around at the moment, I told Eliza to wait for her change & ran into the house. As I stepped in, I saw two kittens, just learning to mount on our 'lamesita' at the living room. I think in that dream we adopted them or probably they were offsprings of our cat Atari, with their orange coats identical to that of our pet. When I started upstairs towards my bedroom, the kittens slowly but promptly followed my path. But as they reached at the foot of the staircase they began to struggle to climb there. Inside my bedroom, I closed the door behind me... (continued below...)

Ang nakakatuwang Magic Flakes commercial

Napanuod ba ninyo ang bagong commercial ng Magic Flakes? Yung tatlong magkaibigan, isang babae at dalawang lalake na naglalakad dahil sobrang traffic. Habang yung babae kumakain ng Magic Flakes. (Malamang, commercial nga ng Magic Flakes eh.) At nagulat na lang yung babae na katabi na pala niya si John Lloyd Cruz. At sa sobrang starstruck ng babae, pati yung background nagbago. Heaven na heaven ang pakiramdam ni Ate. Pero biglang natapos ang kasiyahan niya nung tinawag na si John Lloyd Cruz ng driver niya dahil wala ng traffic. At bago sumakay si John Lloyd Cruz sa kanyang sasakyan. Nagpasalamat siya sa magic flakes. Pangit lang yung pagkaka-kwento ng commercial pero nakakatuwa siyang panuorin. Hindi lang ako makahanap sa google at youtube ng video nito. Kaya abangan na lang ninyo i-commercial. Kung di pa ninyo napapanuod. Ang galing lang ng commercial. Kung sino man ang nakaisp ng concept. Maraming clap-clap para sayo. Ang galing din ng pagkakapili ng background music. Magic talaga na bigla mo makakasama ang paboritong mong artista dahil lang ma-traffic. Sino ba makakapag-isip na ang traffic ay pwedeng makagawa ng Magic ? Pero may magic nga ba? Ano ba ang “Magic” para sayo? Magic ba na may daya? o “Magic Flakes” lang talaga ang may magic? Salamat sa pagbabasa:))
