Wards
I used to think warding was simple. Put up a shield of light, call upon your guardians and badda bing badda boom you’re completely safe.
Uh, no. Not the case.
Sure, that type of ward can do some good but don't get mad when that ward is easily bypassed by a malevolent spirit (@ myself).
I’ve learned that good wards have to have layers and be tough as nails. My wards weren’t cutting it so I did some research to find what wards will (try saying that three times fast. I can't even say it once). Anyway, here is what I found.
-The more work you put into a ward, the stronger it will be
-Grounding is a must before creating a ward!
-Centering yourself is optional, but I recommend it
-Picking an element to be the center of the ward (aka a fire ward) may be helpful for some
-I recommend using a crystal or a few to aid in creating the ward. Brand new, freshly cleansed stones work best
-If you aren’t skilled at visualization, a physical representation of the ward ca be very helpful (I.e a sachet, sigil, symbol or something along those lines)
-Wards (especially those around yourself) made out of solely your own energy can weaken when you are having a bad health day, inebriated, or exhausted. I would combat this by storing the ward into something physical so that even if you aren’t 100% that object with still give off the energy
-Recharge your wards often! You can’t just create it and then forget about it for months at a time (@ myself, again). They more it will be used the more it has to be recharged. I would say an average ward should be recharged every other week at least!
-Be specific! “To keep out negative beings” What? WHAT? That is so broad, Deborah, what are you doing? “To repel and protect against those who I believe to be negative and malicious entities wishing to cause harm…” Better. Be annoyingly specific. It's like that trope where a genie grants you a wish but will always find a loophole and screw you over. Make sure there are no loopholes!
-Energy wards should be fluid, not stiff. Think an impenetrable bubble, not a wall of ice. Ice shatters.
I will be adding on to this as I discover more tips, feel free to add on to it!

Found a couple of stones and some of them were just too good to pass up so using them for three different ones, the third is still in the process while the other two are drying. It’s complicated, but thinking of something that needs to fit on the stone and the purple is there for the Winter. Was going to do an orange one, but it didn’t fit the whole deeper season next season or upcoming seasons as themes. The other two fit quite easily, but still thinking for a bit.
Red for Salfice and Surfice, while the background is blue for Winter. The red is the Calstar, well a short smaller than normal one, but it should still sanfice. The blue is the background to give it more of a deeper darker background and balance than the rest of it carries. The red part is for the darker and denser parts of the main.
81st, Yengara/Devirè. Known as Vampire Resurgence Ward or Vampire Delsigian Ward.
In red for Vampires, memories, and of course blue background for the winter.
Purposes; Deep memory resurfacing, memory restoring, vampire reviving, Prolictive protection, pronsincative synchronism and omens, provincative healing, and prolivative speed.
The 97th, known as Vrilka (the Valkori Wolf Ward).
For; Prolictive purposes in protecting those whom are connected to its energies, such as wolves and werewolves. Among other things also is the Vampire Resoritive Ward, which makes it capable of restoring memories and reviving vampires. For deep memories and unscrambling memories as well, also for Defense, Truth, Darfense, Hope, and Prosinctive purposes.
