I live for drama so I thought it would be fun if this moment was also when Peri’s magical backup symptoms started! 🥰

Tbh my personal hc is that these two are VERY BITTER EXES, and the entire fairy world takeover was just an obsessive, elaborate plan to win peri back, or at the very least keep him prisoner bc Irep is a possessive freak sndjdjdjdjdj

Just realized something…

How did Cosmo and Wanda avoid magical up? How Peri doesn’t know he’s a fairy, how can he not have magical up if doesn’t use magic at all? They don’t use wands at all?

I’m guessing his wand, seen in The New Series, doesn’t exist in this AU?

I know fairy Godparents can get magical up as seem in the final episode of Season 1.

I’m sure that can happens to ones that are not Fairy Godparents, I mean Cosmo’s mom and Wanda’s dad can be seen in the background in the final episode, I don’t know if you saw but they were there with other fairies in one of cages.

Still questioning why Anit fairies took over if they would have got themselves killed….

Magical Backup is complicated, despite common belief, all fairies can suffer from it and not just Godparents. It happens when a fairy goes for a long period of time without using magic, and not just through a lack granting wishes.

Wanda and Cosmo haven't done any Active Magic since Peri was born, they haven't even touched their wands since that day (they're hidden away). But they aren't at risk due to them using Passive Magic to keep up their human forms.

Fairies don't have to worry about getting Magic Backup until after they go through Muberty (the fairy version of Puberty) which is when their magic matures and their life force depends more on using it.

Hence forth, Peri will be fine until he reaches around the age of thirteen, give or take a year or two.
