(This Saturday night at 9:30 PM, I will begin running the above game.
It's Magical Girls, in the 1990's with a heavy Madoka influence. The stress of dealing with things Man Should Not Know leads to the possibility of soul corruption. It says "5E" but there's only a skeleton of D&D in there, where you have abilities rolled with a D20 + modifier. Everything else, from the magic system, to the enemies, to the world, is completely designed to make you feel like Tsukino Usagi or Kimberly Hart as you fight to balance defending the world from dread evil while trying to pass your exams.
