The context of the image: 

Gladstone wins a dinner for two and as a way to avoid a gold-digger girl on his way, he invites Magica to come along. Seeing her in her usual dress, Gladstone firmly tells her that she can't enter the restaurant dressed like that, to which Magica uses her powers to fix her appearance.

Perhaps for Gladstone, the result was luckily better than he expected.
