I am absolutely obsessed with off campus as a long time reader of the books I love it. I need someone to talk to about this so please interact! I have a theory about season two that I believe is backed by slightly insane evidence.
I think Allie and Dean is going to be next because the show writer said that every character is getting a semester and dean is a senior meaning next season is his final semester. So logically and time wise that makes sense. This is not the crazy part about my theory. I think that allie and deans season is going to be enemies to lovers. I do not mean annoyance to lovers I mean they become enemies after the hunter situation. I think this because for some reason is every cast interview about the show when asked EVERY SINGLE actor says enemies to lovers. Now I know it is popular but is what world is it that popular. I don't believe it. ALSO every time they say it is so quick and without hesitation like it was planned.
I want this to be true so badly because, I need everyone to picture it with me, Imagine they have been fighting for seemingly no reason everyone is wondering why they randomly HATE eachother and then sean finds out allies fling was with Dean Fucking Di Laurentis. He goes and yell at her acts like a total asshole and then when allie is breaking down she call for DEAN. THE MAN SHE HAS BEEN HATING. AHHHH. Hannah and Garrett are wtf you hate eachother but call him regardless and DEAN COME RUNNING TO SAVE HER BECUASE HES A YEARNER AT HEART. I didn't think call dean could get better but i think it just did. LIKE COME ON.
also I think push their story line forward makes so much sense because it gives them so much more room to grow and for dean to actually recover. Like the score is my favorite book by far but I do think it has a slightly swift ending. I think the show will give us more time to sit with it and enjoy the character arcs.
