A little complaining about Mahiru and Guren's relationship as a lot of people ask me about it nowadays.

Before starting I wanted to say that I had write this before on my Instagram page before but I think it is not bad to write it down here too ;)))

So here we go about Guren and Mahiru!

Did they love each other? Yes and No.

On novel 5 when Guren went to have a meeting with Shinoa he rememberd about his feeling for Mahiru which was JEALOUSY and then it turned to love.

But even this Guren directly said on novels that he doesn't know if his feelings towards her after 10 years is still love or not and remember that Guren never told Mahiru if he loves her and even when Mahiru was dying on his arms he again didn't say he loves her. But yes we totally can say he loved her although till the last moments he wasn't sure about his true feelings. But now, the 24 years old Guren is in love with her yet?! No.

Guren is a type of guy who only wants to protect everyone he see (Novel 4, chapter 2 and 3) and Mahiru many times said she loves a Guren who is weak but even in the worst situations still wants to protect humans (again read Cat16 novel 4 chapter 2 and 3 that's too important)

I think Guren's feelings towars her is regret and guilty. He generally has guilty towards anybody he couldn't save and this is the same about Mahiru too. He feels bad and guilty why he couldn't save her but his love towards her completely gone.

Mahiru is the one who completely played and still plays with Guren and whatever happened to Guren till now is a part of her plan (she admit it herself before her death you can't deny it🤷‍♀️) and Guren is completely aware of this too but he doesn't have any choice but to do what she wants or he can't save his family (WRat19 volume 1 last chapter) so I think when everything will finish and back to its normal place and Mahiru back to life too Guren really won't be with her anymore
