some recent half-assed explorations of dragon posture and how they might walk around while also having usable arms for grasping/holding tools. i'm definitely not the first person to invent the concept of six-limbed dragons walking on their wingtips, but i think it fits what i'm going for. i'm also trying to zero in more on their clothing and how/where it developed over time as humanity meshed with their culture and influenced it
some stuff about dragon airspace law and radio visors!
on the differences between the human helms, in descending order: farah's is a pretty standard modern military helmet, nothing special going on there. collar's is an older military model from ~1-2 decades prior that she kept after she deserted and has since modified for better close-quarters protection i.e. it's functionally a football helmet. richas's is also a standard military model but it's like, super top of the line fancy, because he's The Golden Boy and they want him to look pretty for propaganda shoots. on the flipside of that, sinclair's helmet is just made of random shit he put together. it's functional and that's about it.
while the dragon visors shown vary wildly in aesthetics, the actual function of the visor 99% of the time is just radio transmission and reception and the rest is just pure optics (in fact, "visors" as a concept are way more common in military circles, most civilian dragons just use an earpiece+antenna+sign glove and thats it), aside from occasional vision enhancements and the obvious benefit of fire/chemical protection etc. that being said, since spades' visor is built specifically for stealth it's about as tricked-out as they get, which is ironic since sinclair's own helm is so shitty. you can really tell what he was putting the budget into at the time.
been working mostly off the grid hence all the photos of my tablet screen. But, Artwork! "blackhands" is sinclair and grisythe's collective alias, which collar later co-ops to use as an undercover identity (with grisythe).
