Something Bugging Me

Why is Aeon/Uncanny Valley not white?

Like, I know it sounds absolute garbage to ask but- what Watsonian reason is there for her to be non-white? Like, she’s a robot. Her mother/creator is white, her mother’s girlfriend/wife is white, her fully robot form is literally white, why, in-universe, is her human form dark skinned? Did Aeon just... prefer it? The only real reason I can think of is that maybe Majesta wanted to make it clear her daughter was adopted, so no one questioned Olympia Hill adopting a child just after Majesta made a robot daughter. Or did someone else, maybe a villain (to explain why Majesta adopted her), make Aeon and that’s who she resembles?

The only reason I can think of is the Doylist ‘representation sells’, and that really doesn’t sit well with me? Like, the more I think about it, the less it makes sense- it started as a dumb shower thought about the complaints about her hero design white-washing her, but yeah??

tldr, ‘God, you can’t just ask people why they’re white Karen’, but flip it and its justified bc she’s literally a robot??
