Tamagotchi x Major Cineplex Tamagotchi Popcorn Buckets
Now you have another reason to go to the movie theaters! Major Cineplex is the largest operator of movie theaters in Thailand. Major Cineplex has partnered up with Bandai to deliver Tamagotchi popcorn buckets. These appear to be exclusive to Thailand at this time. Sales of these popcorn buckets are already sold out and are going to be sold in Major Cineplex locations and Thailand’s Shopee and Lazada websites from January 22nd, 2024 through March 31st, 2024.
Each Tamagotchi popcorn bucket is hard plastic with a lenticular screen that transitions between three different images of Kuchipatchi sleeping, eating candy, and playing the left-right game. The popcorn buckets also feature three large soft buttons, and a purple lanyard. The top back half of the Tamagotchi popcorn bucket opens up so that you can put your popcorn in there.
They’re priced at 490 Thai Baht which is about $14 USD. You can purchase the Tamagotchi popcorn bucket separately, or with a bundle depending on where you’re purchasing it. Be sure to get your hands on one before they’re gone!
