You ever watch Majuular?

I watched his Tekwar video, because Civvie's experience with the game had me interested in the broader franchise at large.

Most of this guy's recent videos are way, way, way too long for me, though. A four hour video on Two Worlds? Three and a half hours on a single Ultima game, in a series of videos probably 14 or 15 hours total?

Nah, man. When I load up Youtube these days I'm looking for something that's 45 minutes or less. I've got other things to do today, and I'd like to watch a variety of different videos rather than sitting down and chewing through one very long video all day.

I get it: Youtube pays better for higher watch time. People are more likely to watch a 4 hour video to completion than they are to watch 8 episodes that are 30 minutes long. It's about getting your foot in the door and leaving it there.

But there are a lot of videos I personally straight up refuse to watch because I do not have time for anything over 90 minutes long. There are so many better ways for me to use my time than watching somebody spend 4 hours reviewing an entire franchise in one video.

Like instead of getting cliffnotes in bulk, you could just watch an actual movie. Not even the same movie you're trying to summarize! Just pick something! If you watch enough movies you'll learn that even movies you don't like still enrich your life a little bit! They'll certainly enrich your life more than if you watch a 4 hour Youtube summary video.

Everyone needs to make shorter Youtube videos!!!!!!
