「巫女」:: She was supposed to be making the meal for Kaede, but as ever-the old woman beat her to it with her kindness and made a soup for her...She wasn’t expecting it either, so it was a pleasent surprise when she came into the old miko’s hut to find her toiling over the cook fire.::

                                                                                                “Oh! Kaede-Obaa-chan!! I was going to make you soup! I guess you beat me to it. Haha.”

           ::She moved in to kneel down beside the elder woman, and set her fresh ingredients to one side as she leaned over the pot a little and breathed in the aroma::

                                                                                                   “Smells wonderful though~! I guess I’ll make you soup tomorrow...You always do it for us~ You deserve to be cooked for once in a while~!”

           ::A smile played tag across the green miko’s face as she looked back up and beamed at her miko mentor. She was determined to cook a meal for her one way or another. And if not today-tomorrow for sure!::

Just watching my mom do so much stuff in and around the house despite also working full time and watching my stepdad do like...not even a quarter of what she does and how me and my sister are expected to perform these duties and he is just...never expected to is enough for me to not want to ever marry/live with/cohabitate with a cishet man my god
