Fluorite: What have you been focused on lately?

Right now, I’m trying to get my college applications and such getting taken care of. I’ve especially been working my butt off on my art portfolio so I can hopefully get into my dream art school. It’s kinda hard because since I’m in an AP art class and have to continue making art for the whole year, I have to decide when to stop and say “ok, this is a sufficient amount and quality of art to apply with.”

Turquoise: Tell us about a lesson you’ve learned.

I’ve definitely learned not to give a shit about what other people think and just do whatever makes me happiest or is going to benefit me and/or the people I’m closest to, as long as it’s not hurting anyone. I don’t have very many enemies or even very many people I dislike, but why should I waste my time caring about what the very few people who I’ll probably never see eye-to-eye with think? Not caring so much is just so freeing and less stressful.
