Play To Your Strengths
Not all of us see our weaknesses, but weakness can hold us back, if we don’t change those. Also, carrying a weakness doesn’t mean you have or will fail, not everyone who is weak fails, instead they may stagnate.
We all have weaknesses, we can’t be good at everything, but weaknesses if we allow those to stay without thinking about what they might be, or how they may manifest, means success any success we may have will be put on the back-burner.
The problem is that we may not see that we’re weak or that we need to make ourselves strong, it’s usually how we see others, but it is important to make ourselves strong. There is always something we can work on to better ourselves.
Where you know you have a weakness, working on those become your strength. Don’t see your weaknesses as a failing, see it as an opportunity, something to nurture, something to build on, and something to change.
As children we don’t see or know what weakness is, only what our parents or teachers tells us. I had many weaknesses. Mentally and emotionally I wasn’t strong. I’ve had to make myself strong.
Where others had control, I had a hard time enforcing my own will. Looking back, because I didn’t know about autism then, it saved me. For me, sitting in my cavern for as long as I did, gave me front seat viewing of the things I needed to see.
Without recognising your weaknesses, you may fail to see your strengths. Knowing what your weaknesses are helps you to build and play on your strengths.
