This was so inspiring to me! I have been in so much pain lately and as many know...pain is exhausting and draining... I have been thinking on many things.... Wondering if I should just go all in despite the pain and try to pursue all my dreams and aspirations and push myself knowing the risk and possible shorten my life but I would have LIVED. Part me says...just sit quietly stop everything...just rest and enjoy your family and give up your aspirations definitely your happiness but probably add to your life. Well none of that is necessary and neither of that is ME Lol! Well the first kinda is....but my point is what I DO know is I have TODAY. Not only is tomorrow not promised to me. Later today isn't...the next moment isn't. We MUST do more to make life count! One of the reasons I wanted to do so much in community... work with my performing arts team, work with Autism families and cancer survivors and their families and the homeless is because I want my life to count while I'm in this earth. The reality....the truth is.. it HAS TO. We were created to help others. Our lives are not ours. We were put here to touch other lives. That's why we connect with people. So as I start my day...even though today I will be in bed.... How do I make my life count? How do I still embrace my dreams and aspirations? How do I still feel that beautiful breath as I inhale and exhale? How do I LIVE? That's the best question! Well in regards to my dreams and aspirations... make thoughtful and careful decisions and plans. Be both futuristic (always dream and make yourself REACH) And be Realistic...(what can I do right now? Do it!) In regards to making my life Count (be purposeful in every decision and action. Even the small ones. Since I have to be in bed...I can reach out to people I don't often get to talk to...just to say HI...check in on them.) And HOW do I LIVE... I think that's easiest.. by CHOICE. Choose to be happy...Choose to enjoy my day no matter what. Choose to relax and recover and REST. I am no good to anyone pushing myself. My right side has painful neuropathy still... been having trouble breathing but it's getting better. And it's getting a little easier to walk. So I will continue to rest and watch a few movies. Life is Good!
