Dear 2020 ,

You were one amazing, heartbreaking, soul-shaking year.

I am thankful,

Thankful for the amazing people I got to meet.

Thankful for the love I got to give and receive.

The lessons were a bit tough and I will definitely never be the same again.

But there are so many memories to look back at.

I got matching tattoos with my best friends.

I achieved so much professionally and personally.

Lost myself. But became someone better and wiser.

I learned that life is shorter and more unpredictable then I could have ever imagined.

I had to learn to deal with loss and regret.

Suffer with the idea of plans made that can never be executed.

I learned how vulnerable a heart can be.

But the most important thing I’m taking from this year is to never take anything for granted, to always give all the love I can, to be gentle and kind. Never go to bed angry. And most important of all appreciate every little things, every small victory and every single person in my life.

This year was one hell of a ride but we made the best out of every moment.

We survived even the darkest nights and the deepest wounds when we thought we couldn’t bare any more.

This year felt like it would be the death of me but it was the death of the person I use to be.

I’m grateful for you 2020!

No fairy godmother to grant all your wishes

And turn rats into decent people

No magic slipper lost and found

And returned to its rightful owner

No reincarnating kiss

No love potion

No way to reverse reality

Because in reality

The end is inevitable

But happiness is a privilege.

If only everyone who had an ending

Reached complete bliss,

Then nightmares would be full of

Our souls embracing the departure from these vessels

Hell would be the home of

Unicorns and chocolate rivers

And heaven would harvest sinners because sins are inevitable

And there is no such thing as darkness

Yet homeless vets live under bridges

And their is an elite pedophile ring running Amerikkka...

My ancestors were killed for their birth right

And their murderers confess of their

cowardice and inhumanity

on their death bed.

Happy endings don’t exist

But when the wave comes

one thing you need to learn is appreciating your opinion no matter how absurd it is to the audience....at least notice and appreciate the fact that your brain actually generated a thought to try and solve something or give a solution to a problem...and that is where confidence begins....it doesn't matter who approved it all that matters is the effort...rhetorical question: out of the 7B people on earth don't you think that someone would have brought the exact same opinion or a crazier one?
