Core
Who we become is shaped by what we see and experience from those who raised us. What were their core values, where and how did they conduct themselves, we pick up on everything, simulating what we they do developing our core beliefs. When we have love and support growing up, we develop a strong core to rely on. When we face challenges we depend on our core strength to get us through. The first steps we took and walked across the room they screamed with joy building a core belief in ourselves that we can do it.
When we have confidence we believe we can achieve the task at hand. If we are not coordinated we look silly weakening our core belief in ourselves and lowers our self esteem. The school system teaches us academics and if we didn’t excel, it “tells” our core we are not smart. We need to feel safe as children to have a strong core to fall back on otherwise we are scared. Exercise develops a strong core taking the weight off our backs and we have healthier lives. Our core runs the foundation of our lives, and it is helpful to know our core strengths and weaknesses.

What we are told we hold close to our hearts forming opinions around what we hear and what they say. Our core belief in how we feel about ourselves shows up right in front of us in people, places and things. When we stop criticizing ourselves this starts building a stronger core belief that we are worth it unleashing peace and joy.
