🌿how does creating make you feel?

God when I'm in the zone I get SUCH a rush! Give me allllll that dopamine you know? I love bringing something to live with words and seeing that other people also like it! (I get it with art or other crafts too). I wish I could just write and have the words spill out effortlessly because I love that feeling so much, sadly it doesn't happen that often anymore. But I do love creating! Thanks Zo!!!

2. What song(s) remind you of this character?

God I have an entire Zoscar play list but for Wilde specifically The Story by Brandi Carlile works for him in so many ways throughout the campaign. Also Walls by Tom Petty because of the lines

18- What’s something you associate this character with? E.g. a certain colour, object or scenery?

I joked yesterday about how I always seem to use teals and greens when I draw him. I always associate blue with him post resurrection. (Because of that angry Wilde Yerlik art by liv_doodle). Definitely associate peacocks with him 🦚 and fireworks. I can't use either emoji without thinking of him.

7. What story/headcanons do you feel the proudest of?

Honestly, I’m proud that I’ve written anything at all. However, I’m still really proud of Lonely in Conflict, Cast as a Convict, which I wrote for the Phandom Reverse Bang in 2020, because I was doing things with the characters that I knew was risky but I was excited to explore.

In terms of RQG, I would probably say Fade Out, which I wrote for the Line Is Erased event at the end of 2021. This was a little Zoscar fic set towards the end of Oscar’s life, and it’s very soft and quiet. But I’m very interested in Zolf as a caretaker, but also as someone who needs a lot of care himself, and I feel like I touched on that here.

24. Do you prefer AUs with the characters, or sticking to the original universe?

AUs. All my biggest and most popular fics have been AUs. I get invested in stories because of the characters. Everything around the characters isn’t important, so I like putting them into different settings and situations and seeing how they cope. Also, there’s less pressure to get things right with an AU.

8. A mystery I really hope gets resolved is what on EARTH was going on with Rome - what were they doing, why did they keep the dragons locked up, why is it SO FUCKED UP NOW, who are the Cult of Mars, and WHY the FUCK are they the Cult of Mars? I guess that either this gets resolved through some NPC infodumping, or perhaps some Q&A GM infodumping. If I were to bet money, I'd go with the latter shfsdhgh

11. Gah, okay, but Zolf's "And Sasha isn't there" from the beginning of 156 ..... lives rent-free in my head, broken Ben-voice and all. Ouch.

16. Gosh this is a tough question, cause I'm very very fond of all the content I've made for RQG - which is LOADS more than I've done for any other fandom, so YAY :D but since you ask, it is in fact an illustration a shower scene I made for someone's big bang fic, which is way too spicy to put on tumblr -- I worked really hard on it and it came out really well, and I'm so proud of the way I've come with digital art! (For those curious, the piece of EXPLICIT digital art can be found here on AO3 along with some pretty rad stuff by @wordsandstrangeways and a link to the fic, too <3)

1 - 177 is my top favorite episode, not just for the zoscar (though yes, partially that) but because I think it features the best role playing from both Alex and the players in the entire show. The careful way all of the players are speaking to their NPC, the wildly (ha) different relationships on display, and in particular honestly azu and carter—it all just gets me :’)

8 - WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH HADES. If it’s a Persephone thing related to the garden I will fly to London and give a respectful and socially distanced air high five to mr. newall myself

7. What is something you do not at all think will happen in the finale, but is just fun to daydream about?

12. Is there an episode you keep downloaded at all times, just in case you want to go back to it? If not, which episode would this be if you did?

7. Look we all know I want the zoscar kiss but for a more nuanced answer: I’d like to see some *proper* answers about what’s been going on and maybe a grand reveal monologue from Alex but I doubt it’s going to happen sadly. Fingers crossed for the epilogues.

12. I adore the bottle episode (the chatterbox 153) but I think the bow bar (171) has to be one of my all time favourites, just listening to them all have fun and Wilde in his element causing true chaotic fun for all (also chasing so hard on the heels of 169 and the lapel grab (my beloved).

14. The irony of me not being able to remember what I always forget. It always astonishes me re-listening how far in advance some things have been seeded. The one that got away is the obvious answer but the way Shoin’s and Svalbard are set up from the off is just *chef’s kiss* level of design. I really do respect Alex’s craft.

okay SO first of all, sorry this took so long to answer, i was out and wanted to get home to check my notes just in case my memory was wildly wrong but turns out – my notes tell me nothing

from what i can remember, the first like big clear idea i had for band au was that zolf had to leave at some point, and that wilde was going to come find him (though originally he was going to leave for a lot longer, not just a few days – i actually have a few early scenes of this written out if you ever want to read them), so i think the scene where wilde comes to find zolf at his parents' house is probably one of the ones that was there almost from the very beginning

that, or the scene when zolf kisses wilde for the first time and then has a big freakout about it, that was also kind of in my mind from the start

for band!au wilde makes an actual real life mix tape for zolf and zolf has to track down a casette player to play it on

also zolf (and the band in general) likes to surprise and embarrass wilde by singing his one hit song at random moments when he's not expecting it
