Triple Threat*
Its that age old thing, you love a product, use it for years and it gets ‘revamped’-’revitalized’-‘re imagined’ and you sit there holding onto that last scrap of your favourite product wondering whyyy??!? As the old saying goes..if it aint broke, dont fix it.
But..we have to move with the times and this is one product relaunch that certainly wont leave you lusting for your old plastic Make-up Forever HD Compact.
The new ‘Pressed HD Powder’ by MUFE feels and acts very much the same as the old HD, it has the same texture and feel on the skin but now comes in ‘Banana’ & ‘Peach’ in a nifty metal tin, which for being on-set is so much more robust than the plastic compact that would often snap at the hinges.
It does appear slightly heavier on the skin so you can be even more light to the touch when applying, but that’s great as a little goes a long way meaning it will last longer. What I also use to notice about the old HD when you got towards the bottom of the barrel it began to crumble ever so slightly.
So lets wait and see how this cookie crumbles with the new HD Compact. Sometimes we all need a little revamp every now and again and this one is certainly for the better.
