One more post for today, but this one is for a person who was very special. Talia Castellano was born on August 18, 1999. During her childhood, she was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, which is a rare childhood cancer. Then, she had passion for makeup that lead her to have her own YouTube channel known as TaliaJoy18. One of her well-known phrases were "Just Keep Swimming" and "Makeup is My Wig" had inspired younger generations who are also diagnosed with various childhood cancers. Unfortunately, on July 16, 2013, she lost her battle for cancer and earned her wings before her 14th birthday. In the past, she once said that if she had one wish, it would be a cure to cancer. Dear @taliajoy18 I cannot believe it’s been five years since you were here on #earth!!! It feels like so much longer I miss your #humor I miss your #Strength I miss our #Conversations late at night about #makeup I miss your wisdom I miss your talent your #videos your impact. I want to #thankyou for coming to visit me in spirit as I woke up from #emergencysurgery last week and telling me that you wouldn’t let me be put on the #ventilator because I had to be able to tell people what to do. I also know with all my heart another time I was in ICU into 2016 You somehow became my ICU nurse Who was named Talia and kept staring at my #tattoo of you on my arm. My tattoo of you is my #favorite it does make me feel close to you and I love it best of all. I hope you’re OK with what I’ve done with my #YouTubechannel and I promise to do more #makeuptutorials now that I can breathe better and I’m feeling more like myself. I hope you like the #rock that your sissy made for me I always want the world to remember the best @covergirl that ever lived. I want you to come visit me again. I know that I carry with me everyday with a bracelet from your @taliaslegacy #foundation or the bracelet that your mom @momma_joy and @mattia_joyce gave me for Christmas. Next month is childhood cancer awareness month and all of you know how near and dear finding a cure for childhood cancer is to me I don't think a child should ever be faced with cancer and so many children are lost to this Monster many more than adults because of lack of research around childhood cancer and how it develops and progresses please consider getting one of these in loving memory T-shirts honoring children that have been lost and helping to promote awareness while also donating to childhood cancer research and glam wars an amazing program my sweet Talia started with a little girls going through chemo again makeovers and little boys get their face painted .
