Maki looked in the mirror, tracing the small scars on her nose and cheek.
She sighed and her eyebrows furrowed.
She didn’t feel like recovering them so she didn’t even bother putting on new bandages.
(idk if this is accurate or not and i’m sry if it isn’t but this is just an idea i had:3)
She walked out of her bedroom in her hashira estate to see her boyfriend, Muichiro Tokito.
The mist hashira’s breathtaking teal eyes light up and a smile grows on the boy’s face.
“Hey Maki!” His smile falls when he notices the sad expression on the girl’s face. “What’s wrong?”
Maki looked down at her feet. “Mui.. are my scars ugly..?” She asked, small tears forming in her eyes.
Muichiro’s heart shattered into bits and pieces at the question.
“W-what? Of course not Maki! Why would you think such a thing about yourself? Did someone say something to you cause if they did it’s not true! You’re beautiful with or without the scars!” The mist hashira spoke wholeheartedly, worry evident in his eyes.
Maki’s heart melted at his words and she hugged him.
“I love you Mui..” Muichiro hugged her back.
“I love you too. Don’t forget just how beautiful you are, ok?”
He said, stroking Maki’s cheek, locking eyes with her.
Maki smiled. “I’ll try.”
