I'm curious guysss. Im making a book irl and I've had my lovely friend @iliketobedelusional (check her out guys. Talk to her, she awesome) say I'm brutal. And I will admit. I am. I make my characters suffer. I like to murder there loved ones or kill them off! In my story its based off my nightmares or the things I've seen in my nightmares or simple things I like! But I need to know how brutal you think it is.
idk if I'll finish it by December or Christmas but my mother has given me a goal to make a book before the end of this year. I'll probably write an actual book another time but I'm settling for a coloring book. How does a coloring book themed around dog girls? Specifically nine dogs that are comfortable with being in snow.
The idea is inspired by Savannah Alexander Art's Puppettes and my TikTok mutual Eemapso's "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer New Heights" story & art. It also came from the fact that I've been seeing a lot of AI coloring books both online and in my daily life that I was like "hell, why don't I make one just counteract it".
I have ideas for the nine girls but I'll be working on them still. Here is what I got so far. (ignore the werewolf, that's for something else)
I'll see where this goes for me honestly. Even though I have on and off relationship with Amazon, KDP seems like the most popular and easy way to go about this but I'm mainly focused on having the art made before looking at publishing it.
I’m in the process of planning to make my friend a copy of all the young dudes, and i’ve never done any book binding before like ever and i’m excited yet terrified! If anyones got any tips on book binding that they’ve learned from experience pleaseeee let me know!!
Especially with printing the book bc that’s what i’m the most confused on and, how do you decide the number of pages per section to put the book together and with making the holes to thread the string through to thread the book together, how do you decide how many holes to make?? I’m sorry if this doesn’t make any sense but i’m not sure on how to word it.

Want to know what your story would look like as a physical book?
If you are like me then you have had this weird passion to see your story printed out in physical form. But not just as a word document! In actual book format. Now you can absolutely do this by going to places like Barnes N Noble and can pay them to print your story. In fact I plan on doing this down the road after much (MUCH) more editing. But maybe you want to see it now for editing purposes? Maybe you want to know how it really looks? Well then you are in luck because I just wasted an embarrassing amount of paper trying to figure this out!
So the above picture is my final product! For now at least. Keep reading to see how I got this!
Now, I use Microsoft word when I write so if you use another version of writing this might not be that helpful. But maybe it could at least put you on the right track. So first go to LAYOUT.
Then you will click on the corner of the Page Setup tab.
So this is where you may have to do some tweaking before you get it just right. This is also the part where I ended up wasting a lot of paper. The highlighted box is where you are going to change the margins. You can mimic my settings and see how you like it. The one thing that I realized is that you should try and make the crease margin thinner then the outer out. Because even though the preview shows the words close to the crease, it won't print that way. At least mine didn't. So I basically had to make the preview look the opposite of what I was trying to do. Also note that this is printing landscape (mine changed automatically) and that for Multiple pages: it has book fold.
Move over to Paper and on here you will change the paper size to A4. Keep the selection on Default. Then hit OK.
And then you are good to print! Just make sure that you have it where it prints on both sides! Also, NUMBER YOUR PAGES! I first thought my printer was losing it by the order it was printing. It wasn't until I numbered them did I realize it was printing it to be folded into book form. Anyway, I hope this helps and just keep trying until you get what you want! Happy writing!
