Downloading Davinci Resolve was a good decision and now I can play the TMBG songs I own backwards if I so choose

Windows’ “HAGS” (Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling) seems to have been behind audio dropout I’d been experiencing in recordings lately when both mic and game sounds tried to come through simultaneously in OBS.

Ran my OBS log through OBS’ log uploader/analyzer and it recommended disabling HAGS; did that and it seems (fingers crossed) to have solved the problem (which could be spotted visually as recurring phantom sound activity in the mic widget in OBS’ audio mixer).

Update:

The problem came back, with HAGS still off, so who knows if HAGS was actually behind it; seems to have been due to an interaction between high Gain filter, a Compressor filter with its own small Gain boost, and just fairly high amount of ambient mic static; removing the Compressor filter (and putting that Gain boost into the main Gain filter) seems to have resolved it for the most part; Compressor filter was dropping the overall mic sound quality anyway. Inspired by his hard working sister and his fresh and exciting relationship with Briella, Damian made a lot of videos. Thankful for al the help and guidance Heather had given him, he quickly improved his editing skills and made better and better videos every time. He maxed out his Media Production skill, slowly built up his fame and also cashed some royalties from the videos he posted (although the siblings had no financial worries whatsoever, their parents left them a small fortune).
