Can I rec two non-human / haven't met in Eden AUs? First is Clandestine Affairs by writeonclara, great Regency setting, lovely pining, adorable Aziraphale and jelaous Crowley. Second is The Great Pretender or A Man with (at least two) Secrets by Makkoska, met only in the 21st century, very clever plot, great sex scenes. Both has nice humour and some angst (nothing excessive), some action and lovable if silly angel and demon in love.

“How dare you!” Aziraphale shouts.

“It’s not personal!” the demon shouts back, peeking around the edge of the bookshelf. Aziraphale flings a blessing at him, but he jerks back before it can land. “I was assigned to you.”

“I’ll smite you back to Hell, you—you—snake!”

“Funny you should say that,” the demon mutters, before lifting his voice again. “Or how about we carry on what we’re doing and not attract the attention from Downstairs, yeah? Or Upstairs, for that matter.”

Or: Aziraphale has been assigned to secure The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch. He really shouldn’t have been surprised to learn that Hell had an agent of their own assigned to him.

Luckily for him, Crowley is a dreadful spy.

The demon Crowley is seeing Mr Fell, a peculiar and fascinating bookshop owner. He knows the man has secrets, but doesn’t quite realize the extent of them. Or: It’s London, in the 21st century. An ethereal and an occult creature meet and fall in love without realizing they are missing essential information about the other.

New Year resolution of a kind

At least I have goals. *Writing goals* for the year. Oh my.

1. Finish current WiP fic. I got VERY invested in the Good Omens fandom in the last month or so. AO3 feels like a slash heaven again. Aziraphale/Crowley is a beautiful, brilliant ship, you can’t tell me it’s not canon either. I haven’t been onboard of a ship that was this active for very long. Authors posting about the lovely angel/demon pair are superb. This time I’m not writing to fill a gap, or remedy canon tragedy. I’m writing because I’m absolutely in love with them. This goal is also a cheat, as the fic is practically written, I just need to do the boring editing, correcting bit.

2. Clean up AO3 account. Goal is to purge it from stories that don’t really mean anything to me any more (or I was never happy with them to begin with). Big question mark is what to do with Path to Darkness, as I like half of it. Will leave FF net as it is, haven’t really been updating there lately anyway.

3. Clean up stories. This one is the worst. Goal is to fix up plot, grammar and spelling on all stories I’m keeping. This is horrible, help. If I can do this, I can do anything.

4. Write sequel to Come What May. I’m promising a sequel to anyone who asked and to myself for years.

5. Cry over all the unfinished stories in my Google Drive. Select the ones worth anything and actually finish them.

6. Write the original story I’m incubating for years. Decades. Chances to fulfil this goal are low.

They very well might be unrelated, but they just fit each other. So maybe one inspired the other, maybe it's just thinking along the same lines. Anyhow, I love both.
