As obvious as it sounds, I often need to remind myself that nothing changes if nothing changes.

I need to be intentional with my time to shape my future in the way I want it to unfold. Maintaining the status quo does nothing to improve the trajectory of my life and so, I need to be focused and proactive in building up to something bigger.

When new opportunities arise, I will rise to the occasion, despite the resistance I feel towards change.

From his book, The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A F*ck, Mark Manson poses this question: What pain are you willing to suffer ? In other words, what are you willing to sacrifice for the things you want to achieve.

Another thing that has kept this idea in my mind is the lovely song, Be The Same by Mako Road.
