someone brought up beauty and the beast to me the other day in a positive light and i just had to hold my tongue cause i wish i could get those 2 hours of my life back from that

right like it wasn’t the worst movie i’ve ever seen it was just..a massive waste of time. the few plot points that made it distinct from the original movie weren’t creative and weren’t worth the $15 i paid to watch it. and emma watson cannot sing. like, obviously every disney live action movie was a cash grab concept but this was so lazily executed sub-par regurgitation of the original (much better) movie that i was like...okay lmao

i don't think that was the point of the post, it was aimed at all the people complaining about the "sjw" and about how tumblr "started this shit" as if it hadn't been around for basically as long as humans have been oppressing other humans

Ah, I read it as: "Oh just because it's on tumblr now you suddenly care" , but then aimed at the people who are the activists, rather than at people whining about being confronted with how the world actually is.
