When your ship is small (as in it's you and occasionally @orangepanic and @rasnak2 indulge you) sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and make your own content. When I saw one of the prompts for @polyamships Multiamory March was "memes" I knew I had to even if it's not an original thought.

Endgame Makrohsami

So, I'm starting a tag game sort of thing for rarepairs and this will be the post for the Makrohsami story chain. Rules will be found here.

Mako let out a sigh as he put down his pen. Maybe it had been a bad idea, trying to diversify the genre he's been attempting to write, considering the fact that all the previous stories he's written were focused on either the supernatural or the horror genre. He had no experience writing love.

Scratch that, he had no experience in love altogether. And here he was, trying to write an organic love story, even though he was an aromantic person himself with just one failed relationship. Maybe his venture was sure to flop.

Unless... Unless he could find a couple and observe their relationship. If they wouldn't mind, of course. He wasn't that ignorant or insensitive to invade a person's privacy. But who will be willing?

Makrohsami Things

Based on this post.

When the three of them go to bed, Mako is usually the one who sleeps closest to the door/window. Asami and Iroh often swap for the middle position depending on who gets in bed first.

Mako would never admit it but he's the cuddler in the relationships though Iroh's the one who gives the best hugs. They both live laying their heads in Asami's lap as she'll play with their hair.

Iroh is fairly accident prone and often has minor scrapes and bruises he doesn't recall getting. He can be pretty dramatic about it when it happens. Mako and Asami on the other hand with get hurt worse and then never mention it.

Iroh teases Mako and Asami all the time. It's his favorite thing to do. Asami will join him in teasing Mako sometimes if she thinks it will pull a blush out of him.

A proposal could go anyway with Iroh doing it spontaneously and in the moment, Mako having a fully planned itinerary for it or Asami casually bringing it up over dinner.

All three are workaholics and often get distracted in various projects/cases/missions to the point of forgetting everything else. Usually the other two have to drag them away eventually.

Iroh is the closest to their child even if biologically the child is Mako and Asami's. They kid being two half of his favorite people makes Iroh adore them all the more.

Asami gives the best advice usually but Iroh often has the most life experience when it comes to adulting questions. Mako is the ship therapist as he's the best listener.

Do not as any if these three to sing. Mako sounds the best but he lacks the confidence to make it actually sound good. That being said, Iroh and Asami sing in the shower anyway.

Their relationship is very healthy and very even. The three make sure to build not only their triad relationship but also themselves as individual couples with occasional date nights or nights alone. They also try to spend at least one night a month alone for themselves

All three of them are very capable adults but Asami doesn't belong in the kitchen, Iroh isn't allowed in the garage and Mako's best kept away from cleaning supplies.

Iroh is the most sensitive of the three and often gets over emotional about their relationship. He's also very much the crier when he's sad, happy or frustrated.

Mako is 6'2, Iroh is 6' and Asami is 5'11.

Oh look it's a new fic for the "As We Go" Makrohsami Series I said I was done with...how interesting.

Anyway, the Compersion prompts for Multiamory March (@polyamships) gave me an idea. Probably not the traditional sense of the word but it's where my head went.

Summary:

It was a day all three of them had known would one day come.

Mako had been the most worried about it.

Asami had her worries as well.

Iroh, however, wasn't worried at all.

Tadao has a question for his parents and Iroh has the answer.

So, with this series now complete, I’ve made a small little masterlist for it.

Little did Mako know, that exchange, and a college scholarship, would change his life in the best way possible.

A Chance Encounter - Mako / Izumi’s Daughter (Ursa II)

When Korra drags the group to the Fire Nation for a festival, Mako gets separated. Luckily he's found by the prettiest woman in the Fire Nation.

Truth Wills Out - Mako / Asami

Mako contemplates while in prison. He comes to a conclusion he should have realized a while ago.

He and Asami did make more sense, and he was an idiot.

Smoothies, Tea and Coffee - Mako / Wu / Iroh II

In quiet moments, Mako sometimes contemplates on the men he fell in love with. He comes to some interesting conclusions sometimes and falls even more in love with them.

The Other Firebender - Mako / Asami / Iroh II

Mako's insecurities grow as it appears that Asami and Iroh II are getting closer. Fearful that he's losing his girlfriend, Mako doesn't realize he's growing closer to the General too.

Picking Sides - Mako / Korra

When the argument over Mako reporting Korra to Raiko escalates, Mako picks a side, and Korra does the same.

The Other Brother - Mako / Wing Beifong

When Bolin invites his new boyfriend and their twin to stay with them, Mako finds himself developing a slight crush on the other brother.

Ice Prince - Mako / Desna

When Mako followed Korra to the Southern Water Tribe for a spiritual festival, he hadn't expected the chaos to follow.

The Water Tribe Civil War was building quickly, but at least the events had also brought him Desna.

Shifting Winds - Mako / Opal

A precious stone that was normal at first glance, but iridescent in the right lighting. Something told Mako that Opal, the person, would be the same.

Mako met Opal at the wrong time in his life. He was glad that didn't seem to stop them.

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work - Mako / Hasook

Mako puts a lot of effort into making the Fire Ferrets a well oiled machine but pushing too hard may cost him his relationship.

Can he make it up to Hasook or will be be left floating in the drink?

Mako comes to better understand his friend's love for him after a reporter starts writing article after article about him in the papers over who he's dating.
