Bloodborne’s boys and girls... in Final Fantasy IX style!

Here’s what happens when two of my favorite games of all time are merged into one :D

FFIX inspired me a lot as a child and I still consider it one of the best games ever made, it tells such a charming story in a beautiful and colorful world that feels lived in and believable. At the time, its super-deformed art style and medieval setting turned off many new Final Fantasy fans (aka, those who played from VII onward) but I always found it absolutely gorgeous. All those detailed backgrounds, the plot, the music, the beautiful cinematics... ah! I cannot describe how much joy Final Fantasy IX brought into my life. Only one other game managed to suck me into its world like IX did, and obviously, that game was Bloodborne. Tonally and visually these two titles couldn’t be more different, but in both of them I see the same level of care and passion put into developing an unforgettable experience for the player. And I will always sing high praises of the games that left some kind of a mark on my imagination.

I´ve been playing Bloodborne for a while now, and when I started shipping Gehrmaria I found @bellringerkat ´s amazing art, and I just fell in love with it and all of her Bloodborne fanfics (Gehrmaria ehehehehe :3)

So I decided to make this piece in her honor, inspired by her art. Thank you for bringing such a wonderful art to the bloodborne fandom.
