"You're Arthur Kirkland, correct?" She's staring at a piece of paper, as well as several envelopes, and then back up at the other, brow furrowed. "At least I hope you are- I've gotten your mail- and I'd like to speak with you."
Arthur looked up from the case file he was perusing, a bit startled since he was deep in concentration. His breath caught in his throat upon recognising her as Anneliese Dittmar, the District Attorney and his superior. It was quite disarming to encounter her at his place of residence, and a part of him worried that he was in some sort of trouble.
“Yes, that would be me.” He managed to say calmly, probably with the help of adrenaline. It would be respectful to somehow convey that he did recognise her, but he didn’t quite know how to say it. “Of course, Miss Dittmar.” He stood and put the file away.
