Krautrock was actually a musical melting pot of different cultures. Popol Vuh, already mentioned here, were like that with its tunes that could find the place in the atmosphere of the Latin America. Moreover, there was also the debut of Agitation Free, Malesch, which was also doing an aural journey of a place. Its title evoked the countries of the Middle East, whose vibes permeated throughout the entire disc. The LP resembled a sonic travel to that region, although it was done with Krautrock grooves, so the ending result was therefore a mix of the East and the West. Surprisingly, they did not clash, the band managed to get them to work together quite succinctly. Krautrock actually made the impossible possible, if we are being completely simplistic. The entire idiom was about going beyond the boundaries of rock, which is why it still matters.
