just want to ask what are your favorite books that have made you cry? i haven’t done much reading in a while but i recently read The Secret Life of Bees which got me to tear up a little!

ooh! this one’s easy because i cry over everything. i cried reading one last stop last night in the happiest way,  adam silvera’s stuff usually rips my heart out and makes me sob. i think the book that’s made me cry the most was the last story of mina lee? i wept like a baby when i read it! i should reread the secret life of bees soon!

anna i need you to know that i watched the band’s visit recently and immediately got flashbacks to the mamma mia! au, which definitely was a high point in my life

literally we all peaked in that sweet intersection of Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again and The Band’s Visit. like what a pure period of all our lives. i am happy emo

I fully blame 1) Lin-Manuel Miranda for writing the single most beautiful song/story every written on Broadway 2) every performer who ever sang it because they poured their entire soul and story into it and every performance was perfection.

hey ej! i couldn’t finish maurice, but i did end up watching it with my friend and wow it was good! enough to convince me to try the book again sometime!! (not any time soon, but sometime!)
