@malinthemoon gets a starter because I want to, fite me.
“ I know that this might seem out of the blue; however, I was thinking of going apple picking and I was wondering if you’d like to accompany me.”
@malinthemoon from here.
“Well, someone is. Me. But how did you get in here?”
"I have something I need to tell you..."
“What? What is it?” Edgar questioned, narrowing his eyes at Celestine’s insistent tone.
@malinthemoon liked for a starter.
I’m afraid I don’t know what you mean. This is just a humble little apple cart. Nothing too extravagant.”
@malinthemoon from here.
“My job is to make sure nobody panics and makes things worse.”
@malinthemoon
He lets her run out of steam, sipping his coffee. It’s a nice evening. Might as well be polite.
“Did you want something?”

Lance had deliberated for a long time. In the end, he decided that a present wasn’t necessary. It wasn’t like they were dating. And it had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that he didn’t know Mallory well enough to get her something that wasn’t just generic (and probably insulting).
He waited in the shade of a tree near her trailer for a long time, trying to decide if he should really go apologize, or just walk away, pack his things, and leave Corona. He doubted those twins would chase him down. He wasn’t worth their time. But then, if he left... well, that would be an assish way to go. And he wouldn’t even be able to give Eugene a proper goodbye if he just ran.
Finally, he heaved a sigh and approached the trailer, then knocked on the door and waited. A part of him hoped she was working and wasn’t home.
