Golden Pearls of Spring
Bathed in the tears of the morning. A golden chalice overflowing with silver light. Spring doesn't whisper; it glows in every dewdrop.
The Unfiltered Meadow
There is no staging in the undergrowth, only the quiet, relentless geometry of survival. On a single, slender stem rising through the wild blades, a small ecosystem reveals itself. The stalk is crowded with a dark colony of aphids, giving way to the stark, lacquered red warnings of two ladybugs. Shot through the fine glass of a vintage 135mm Takumar, the background melts into a warm, sandy wash, leaving the small-scale drama perfectly isolated in the morning light.
Summer Painted by Time
Some flowers bloom loudly. Others quietly fill the air with colour.
This orange daylily met the morning through the glass of a Pentacon 100mm f/2.8, a lens that has already witnessed countless summers before finding its place on a modern Canon R7.
Old lenses do not simply record light. They remember how light once felt.
Perhaps beauty is not found in perfect sharpness, but in the emotions that remain long after the shutter closes.
Between the Depths
Surfacing. Drying off under the summer sun, gathering strength for the next dive. True rest only begins when the world around you goes quiet.
Softness in the Overcast
Bright sun forces high contrast, but a gray sky allows a flower to breathe. In this vertical macro study, an orange daylily (Hemerocallis fulva) unfolds under a perfectly diffused, natural light. The character of the vintage Soviet lens shines through, rendering the background into a smooth, liquid green canvas while keeping the central stamens perfectly defined. It’s an honest, unmanipulated glimpse into the quiet, soft textures of a summer garden.
The Golden Hour Return. There is a specific rhythm to the end of an island day, a quiet slowing down of engines and water. In the warm expanse of Stipanja bay, a small speedboat cuts a dark silhouette against a sky painted in pure copper and gold. Heading back after a day on the open sea, its wake leaves a fading track on the shimmering surface. Beyond the water, the dark spine of Učka mountain watches the sun dip below the horizon, marking the close of another quiet chapter in this coastal paradise.
The Quiet Transition
There is a weight to the air just after the sun slips below the mountains. In this vertical documentary landscape, a sailboat sits motionless, a dark silhouette against a sky bruised with deep blues and lined with a thin, fiery orange neon. The vintage Soviet lens, stopped down to capture the full breadth of the scene, preserves the fine texture of the rippling water in the foreground while honoring the grand, silent drama of the horizon. It is an unmanipulated archive of evening stilling.
