At one point in time I had the thought that the more, uh, "dominant" (I cannot be bothered to seek out better wording) variations of Hong Lu we see in some mirror worlds is kind of giving "Sold to One Direction fanfic" but I thought, no, that's too unhinged, that's a very silly nonsense thought.

But then this exists and I can't explain why but this truly just makes me think I'm correct. Hong Lu has a very specific Wattpad fanfiction vibe and I do mean that affectionately.

Sometimes my partner and I play Warhammer 40k (I'm not good at it) on Tabletop Simulator and I thought it'd be funny to replace my Tzeentch army models with Limbus Company characters.

These were way more of a bitch to set up than I anticipated, TTS is so fiddly.

Was randomly reminded of my most "no thoughts, head empty" moments in Monster Hunter. Special mention to:

Doing the Rampage with my partner in Rise, my hunter getting knocked over by a monster, and me panning the camera and seeing three Zinogres running up the path. In that moment, my brain did not know how to articulate "oh shit, many Zinogres are approaching" so I just yelled "DOGGOOOS" instead as if that was supposed to communicate anything.

After spending the entirety of Sunbreak being like "hell yeah vampire dragon" and getting to fight Malzeno for the first time, I got grabbed and saw it proceed to drink my hunter's blood Dracula style and my immediate response was yelling "OHH THAT'S SO COOOL" with no regard for whether or not I was about to face my demise.

You know, my Outis target extraction post from a bit ago reminded me of my theory that Outis is connected to R Corp, and now I shall put that theory out in the open to serve as a time capsule and see how far off I am when we get to Canto 11 down the road.

I dunno if my reasoning counts as spoilers in any notable way but just in case:

Really it's just the mix of Outis' experience with large-scale combat, and the fact that she was even more on edge than usual when the Sinners encountered the Pecatula Invidiae and she mistook them for clones. Girl is always rolling perception checks anyway so maybe I'm overthinking it, but that one felt like the kind of reaction that comes from having personal experience with the Head's policy on clones.

in finnish, the '@' symbol is sometimes referred to as 'kissanhnta' [cat's tail] or 'miau', 'miau merkki' [meow marks]. in the pokemon universe, i thought it might be cute if the '@' symbol were called 'the mew' or 'mew symbol'

considering both bill and professor oak would know about mew, i imagined a conversation in which this term was coined in which professor oak tries (and finally succeeds) at sending his first email.
