Happy souyo wedding ceremony, everyone!!

I've been wanting to draw this for awhile now, and so 51 hours later, this is finally done!!

HUGE ramble AND alternate versions of the picture under the cut, so just a warning for a lot of words!! :3

Okay first, the alt. images, then after that, loads of text:

Pictured in order is Yukiko, Chie, Teddie, Rise (yes she's pregnant; IVF), Naoto, Kanji, Yosuke, Yu, Marie, Nanako, Dojima, "Mamamura", Labrys, and Yoichi (Hanamura)!!

(Yukichie and naorise are implied and ofc Yosuke's parents are together still. ^^)

While two men marrying is not legally recognized in Japan, these two were able to get accepted to get a "same-sex partnership certificate" and basically held a "normal" wedding anyways, to celebrate. Their outfits are a mix of traditional Japanese wedding clothing for men and more modern wedding/formal clothing, as well as some added gold touches to represent the power of their personas in a way (that's a long story as to why gold represents more than just Yu's in my hcs). As well, all the ceremony attendees have matching gold pieces to represent being the "wedding/bridal party" and/or family members. It's not fully structured like "normal" but Yu and Yosuke don't mind lol. (Btw, it was a hard choice deciding who would wear the more prominent black outfit vs white one, but in the end I decided to go with those options *mostly* based on what shade is more seen with who in their game outfits. Besides, I mixed both shades onto them each anyways.) Oh and for reference, Yu and Yosuke are 28 here.

The ceremony is smaller at the Samegawa Floodplain here (pretend there's some specific officiator not pictured from this angle), and then later on in town (sponsored by Mitsuru from the Shadow Operatives, thx girly) there's a bigger reception!! That includes more Inaba friends/family, perhaps SEES/Shadow Operatives, and perhaps also the Phantom Thieves (who happen to work with the Operatives just like the IT does (partially) too), and other friends of Yu and Yosuke from abroad!!

Ramble over!! Can you tell I was excited to draw/post this?

I'll share my silly opinion. But it seems to me that anyone who has drawn Hanamura should try drawing his mom. I actually have a couple of art pieces with her.
