I like that the two that first remember what exactly happened are the two youngest. Hikari never forgot, and Takeru is the first to put the pieces together here.

I know I am giving them (mainly Taichi) shit for not recognizing it's Hikari. TBF, I know one of the first things he does when he gets home is ask her. I just find the the tragic humor of it all hilarious. With this episode, it also makes the first movie (which is relatively short at about 20 minutes) as an episode 0.

My favorite Digivolution line is Bakumon(Tapirmon)> Baluchimon> Mammon(Mammothmon). But despite a few Digimon coming close, I have yet to find a capstone to this line that truly checks all the boxes for me...which is why I made this guy!

Megatheriumon is an Ultimate(Mega) Level Digimon of the Ancient Beast Type and Vaccine Attribute. It's name comes from Megatherium, the giant ground sloth that once roamed South America. It regains the cloud-like elements found in earlier forms and while more modern recreations of the Megatherium don't include a trunk, it is something the creature was once depicted with which is why the helmet looks like that. Hanumon(Apemon) is also a common bridge between Bakumon and Mammon in many forms of media so I incorporated a little bit of those design elements into the arms.

I don't quite have an Encyclopedia-style entry or anything written up fir this guy right now but I am very happy with the design and wanted to share him. I hope you all enjoy as much as I do!
