Terrible Superhero Idea of the Day: Man Rat

By day, Manfred Rattigan is an ordinary middle school science teacher, but by night, he is Man Rat, defender of Junk City’s streets! His powers all stem from the fact that he is a human sized talking rat. He does not stop being a giant rat when he’s out of costume, but still insists on wearing a mask and living a double life to preserve his identity. The people of Junk City have collectively decided to just let him believe he has a secret identity, including his villains. It just...seems impolite to correct him, honestly.

Does anyone remember years ago a funny comic series about a man who was half man half rat? I'm fairly certain it was called man-rat but it could be rat-man or something similar. I can't find the tumblr page or anything online except some Italian comic which isn't what I am searching for. It's like man-rat completely disappeared off the face of the earth. I feel like I'm going crazy. I wish I could remember the author's name. The main character was a man sized man who had a tail like a rat. I don't remember specifics anymore but I wanted to re read the series and see if it was finished. Help!
