Beth: [age 9] "I think they should have just called it 'crango juice' and saved a couple of letters."

Luke: [age 13] "Or they could have called it manberry juice."

Mom: "Manberry juice?"

Luke: "Yeah, mango and cranberry, so manberry."

Me: "You really want to drink something called 'manberry juice'?"

Luke: "Sure, why not?"

Mom: "Ummm... it sounds like something anatomical, you know?"

Luke: [suddenly gets it, turns red] "Ohhhhhh...."

Mom: [to Beth] "You understand?"

Beth: [laughing] "Yeah. So, can you cook with manberries? Maybe baked or roasted manberries?"

Mom: "Manberry pie? Or put them in a blender for a smoothie?"

Me: "Boil 'em, mash 'em, put 'em in a stew?"

Luke: "Grilled manberries, anyone?"

Me: "Sure, put them on skewers!"

Mom: "Let's just not call it manberry juice, OK?"

Luke: "I don't think I can drink any more of this."
