Today was my first rehearsal with the Oregon Mandolin Orchestra :) I’m second mandolin, but I’m hoping that soon I’ll either be bumped up to first or (potentially) swap over to mandocello as they’re lacking numbers in the lower voices.

Either way I had a blast and I’m so excited to be making music with others again!!

Waiting for Battlefront II to download and found a pic of this gem of an early 20th century Gibson K-4 Mandocello. Just another incredible and inspiring sounding 5kish instrument that I'd love to own so I can plan to write songs on it "someday." I yearn for obscure baritone instruments like most folks think about a new delay pedal. One of these is more say...financially impactful than the other. #Gibson #mandocello
