well even with that he managed to write successful complex romances (I’m counting Grace there, to be fair), and there weren’t any of these few last years in rpgs, so maybe he should suck it up and take one for the team here

on one hand, I'm really happy, on the other, I really can't afford a new laptop so I just hope it's not going to be too demanding; but it does look stunning already, I agree :D
Obsidian promised to keep the PC requirements roughly the same. This means, they will buckle down on optimization and not leave us hanging with 3 minute long loading screens.
... I also feel I will be forced to severely tone down on the spell effects for my laptop too. Guess I will enjoy the insanely pretty graphics in gifs and videos and not during my own playthrough.

I found out recently he wrote Mikhaila in Prey, so I’m guessing that the entire clusterfuck that was their relation was also his idea, and honestly? I liked it; so I don’t actually mind his idea of romance, even if it’s unhappy
same, and i’ll take a romance as an exploration of more facets of a complex character even if it ends in a tragedy over 2-dimensional characters with or without romances any day

I kinda want to work on getting a better PC for this game. Had to delete my previous games I'd started because it took so long to load, which is odd because my laptop is a fairly strong laptop in my opinion.
That whole loading thing was 100% on Obsidian. They promised that this time they fixed the issue and loading will be a lot faster.

same here; I mean I don't mind playing on low settings, this is kind of a norm for me anyway these days, just as long as I'm able to play at all and don't get loading screens long enough for me to go shopping and back
Actually, PoE was still in the acceptable range for me, but Tyranny absolutely destroyed me. Leviathan’s Crossing anyone? Shit ton of houses you can enter, almost all of them are empty (but one or two have quests). Entering and leaving a house takes one minute at least.
And with how small the zones in Tyranny are the loading issue became even more prominent.

It's frustrating, because where I work there's a few openly gay guys and everyone is cool with that, but every time me, or someone else who is bi, so much as mentions being bi, you get "the debate" started :/
I don’t think my workplace would differentiate. I mean, no one is out as gay and I don’t think anyone would see much of a difference betwen bi and gay thing. Besides, I am a girl and instead of “ew gay” I would get at worst the “hot, she’s bi” treatment. That’s... not so bad I guess??
And frankly if we do reach the debate part I would be far more combative than the rest of them and thus win any debate thing. And winning is good. I guess.
But bleh I just don’t want to even... go through those one awkward 5 secons after you mention you are Not Straight. It’s such a casual and chill thing, why can’t people act like that.
