Idea: Julie dies and Ray gives Luke her dream box but he doesn't open it, because she was meant to show him because she wanted to, not because she's dead 🙂

he eventually opens it once he thinks he’s dealt with his grief, after ray repeatedly tells him that julie would have wanted him to see what’s inside

and what he finds has him spiralling all over again: as expected, he finds songs julie wrote with her mom, lil poems she wrote about flynn and carrie and carlos and ray and victoria

but 75% of her dreambox’ content is just little scribbles from their song writing sessions, doodles of luke as they worked together, song snippets he’s never seen before but are obviously about him, about them

little love notes luke had given her at the start of their relationship. scraps of paper he had doodled on (he tried to draw julie or at least her hair because we all know he loves it) but then he thought he’d thrown out (turns out julie was saving them)
