I got this @tartecosmetics #DoubleDutyBeauty #JetsetInAJiffy intro set for myself for my birthday. I ended up not liking the pallete’s shades so much. There is a lot of bronze hues goin on there, far more than i expected. It’s cool though. It was a great price! ••• ••• I used my #TarteRewards to get $ off. Since it’s my birthday month i got double points on my purchase, & they sent me a gift (deluxe drink of H2O hydrating boost moisturizer) with my order, along with samples. ••• ••• I love the sets design, the flamingos on the palette dance when you open it & the bag is super cute. I love #tarte’s shadows, even though i dislike the shade colors, they will blend & mix well with other colors i have. ••• ••• What i disliked was that my #ManeaterMascara arrived super dried out. I’m not sure if it was an older set or what? I do remember trying it before & i don’t believe it’s waterproof (i had cut some onions & found out) so i don’t like it much anyways. I am receiving a replacement & sending back the dry one. I’ll be giving that away. ••• ••• Moreso, I wanted this set for the palette, the bag, the #SweetTarte Fragrance Rollerball and the Glide and Go Buttery Lipstick. ••• ••• All in all i would give this set a 4/5 just knocking off 1 star for the mascara, not because i dislike it (i knew what i was getting) because it arrived super dried out & i had to contact them to get a replacement. That’s just a PITA. Especially bc it’s an item i don’t really want, but i paid for it, so i felt obligated to get it replaced. If you like those shadow shades it’s a great buy!
