Peeps over at social media be poking fun at Maya’s whiny crybaby act as Mannu...SCREW YOU! I don’t give a rat’s ass if Mannu was the butt of all jokes. IMMA CELEBRATE MAYA’S WIN FOR MANN MAYAL WITH EVERY INCH OF MYSELF!! When her career best performance and hands down one of the BEST shows of 2015, Mera Naam Yousuf Hai, was royally snubbed at all these “prestigious” award shows...no one gave a shit. Regardless of Mannu being annoying or not, fact is Mann Mayal WAS a success! It WAS trending for the 33 weeks it was on air! It was hated, it was loved, but no one IGNORED the show! Mann Mayal did wonders for Maya. It made her a household name. And now if she’s being felicitated for it toh my Queen deserves it!

When she did the role of a REAL badass female, no one really cared. Oh, but it’s SO easy to make fun of Mannu The Crybaby! This blatant hypocritic behavior of the media annoys me to no end. Maya has worked her ass off to reach this stage. It’s so easy to make fun of her and say “oh she always finds a reason to cry”. To all these people I just gotta say, “Well where WERE you when she played a character who REFUSED to cry and was such a strong female that she made males shudder in front of her?” You didn’t say anything then, you have no right to say anything now!
