hi!! a couple days ago i read the excerpt of your tali (tali/shepherd/garrus?) fic that you posted recently and i cannot stop thinking about it - thank you so much for sharing!! your writing is so beautiful and emotional and i'm already so so invested in their story!! tali is so dear to me 💜 i've always yearned for a fem!shep romance for her, and the dynamic you're laying out with the three of them is scratching my brain in the best way :)

thank you so much!! i'm so glad you liked it! i'm honestly always a little hesitant to post snippets about that ship/ME in general because it's not really what this blog is about and i tend toward less popular ships in the fandom anyway (tali/garrus/shepard has like. less than 100 fics on ao3. crazy to me, i love that ship), so this is really nice to hear.

that snippet was like, cut content from a MUCH longer piece. i think i wrote it like, 38k deep in the draft i'm working on? and it was one of five different endings i wrote out for that chapter because i could NOT figure out how to finish it. in a beautiful, perfect world YES i want to post that fic, absolutely, but it's a long fic (40k and counting, and i have barely scratched the surface of the story i intended to tell) and i have no idea when it'll be done or even when i'll get to dig into the meat of the tali/garrus/shepard stuff i really want to get into. but i really do want to finish and post it one day, so who knows! i might even post more excerpts as i go along.

But im currently in a comfortable position, surrounded by family i love, and with a stable income, and quite frankly, that’s a better outcome than staying in the UK with its horrific economy and gas and electric bills would’ve given. I’m happy with what i currently have.

Tho i will absolutely try and write and direct some plays and maybe finish my fucking novel for once bc i do very much want that

Katran/Catherine is my favorite (me? a fan of the accidental/reluctant messiah figure (and, iirc, the only woman in the first 3 games)? shocking), but Gehn is probably the one I think about most often, purely because John Keston's performance delights me so (as I said in my Xenoblade Chronicles 1 blorbo meme, we love classically trained actors in bideo jame roles). I think about that “’O sole mio” Easter egg constantly.

Handily for me, Sirrus, Achenar, and Gehn all get trapped in the canonical equivalents of superhell! Also whoever the HECK decided that the Rivenese use a base-25 number system. I am simply too sexy for that kind of mathematical know-how and my younger brother flexed on me by figuring it out. (That said, I'm pretty sure I'm the one who figured out how the infamous island imaging/fire marble puzzle worked, so HA.)
