god the skunkblood talk brings me back. i despise cs now and was hoping to just put all of this behind me but the amount of people joining mantafins and not knowing about their previous species is just a bit upsetting to see.

i dont have screenshots for proof, it was years ago and all of these are just taken from my own experience but heres the things ive witnessed

skunkblood doesnt like non hq artists. if you were a non hq artist doing gift or event art of any of their characters you can guarantee that shit was never acknowledged or uploaded to their toyhouse profiles compared to a more high quality artist's art which was uploaded immediately. (friendly reminder alongside this to support your beginners artists!! we all started somewhere)

would constantly offer their species myos to people for their designs or money and then close the species after a week. i wish this was a over exaggeration. and no compensation was given unless brought up to them to which they would offer a 'equal value' myo from their new species. no refunds.

all species were and are cashgrabs. no exceptions. all of them were. once a species became dead and didnt make money it was sold to somebody else.

lied about having adopt money be for college also yeah. shit tons of dekudogs. i dont have too much hate for dekudogs if its like some big companys design and not a personal character or a really small fandom. but its more so just the fact they were sold as adopts and some of the buyers werent aware that they were dekudogs that irks me. at the very least let your buyers know the design is heavily inspired off a existing one. and if they make the decision to still buy even after that then thats their choice and its good that they are at least aware of it.

previous mods admitted to saying skunkblood would shit-talk peoples designs in modchat (no proof was given for this by the mods so so take this with a BIG grain of salt. feel free to post this anon ask without this part if it falls under serious accusations. i do feel bad throwing a accusation around like this with no personal proof of my own. all these ones above are things i experienced and saw but this one i didnt.)

i have wanted to speak about this in this blog for awhile but due to somewhat extreme paranoia and fear i have not. but im a bit too tired to consider the consequences of posting this right now so ill leave the freaking out and huge waves of paranoia ill get from this for the morning when im more conscious.

Guy named skunkblood owns a species named mantafins and hes a fairly popular artist i think . Joined initially from a myo event ad in another server n thought they were cool … then i noticed how its a huggeeee cashgrab … he doesnt even try to hide it too

Hes like the only one in the server that makes adopts and they go for like 70+ each (gone up to 200 i think?) and he makes them like EVERY DAY… and all of his artists dont design shit its like just him doing most adopts and gatcha … and dont get me started on small events where you can “donate” a couple dollars to get a random item and then events where server members design HIM shit and get like a measly amount of currency or a myo in exchange …. Its a huge cashgrab and honestly i hope all the users who encourage his shit stub their toe rlly hard.
